The Sarasota Young Professionals Group (YPG) is a networking organization of dedicated young professionals ranging in age from 21-40.
Founded in May 2003 as a program of the Sarasota Chamber of Commerce, YPG has one simple mission: To enrich the community by uniting and empowering Sarasota area young professionals.
Today we are more than 400 members strong, all working together to move Sarasota forward.

What is the age limit for YPG?
Our membership is designed for individuals between 21 to 40.
What is the cost of being a YPG member?
Membership to YPG is $60/year.
Do you offer a discount for students?
Yes! To receive the student rate of membership of $30/year, you must be a current student enrolled in a postsecondary program. To request a student application, please contact YPG Coordinator, Mimi Cirbusova, at mcirbusova@sarasotachamber.com.

Thank you for your membership! You should receive a welcome email within 1-2 business days, containing your login for the Greater Sarasota Chamber website. Save this login to get your member rates to events. If you do not receive this email, please contact YPG Coordinator, Mimi Cirbusova, at mcirbusova@sarasotachamber.com. We strongly encourage you to get involved in one of our committees.
How often do you hold events?
YPG hosts a variety of events throughout the year. This includes our monthly After Hours, quarterly new member orientations (H.Y.P.E.), and annual events, such as our YPG Summit. We recommend checking out our events page to see all upcoming events, and following us on Facebook.
I’d like to join the YPG Board. How do I apply
The YPG Board of Directors holds elections for open positions each summer. You must be a member in good standing to apply. Our Nominations Taskforce will then interview all applicants for each position, and make recommendations to the Board for approval. YPG Membership is separate from Chamber Membership, because YPG membership is for you as an individual, while Chamber Membership is for organizations.

Can I advertise an event/offer through the YPG?
YPG does not provide advertising opportunities at this time. We strongly recommend checking out the wonderful advertising opportunities through membership at the Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce.
